Polyester

HOW DO WE USE POLYESTER?

Polypropylene and polyester are basically very similar. However, polyester has a high breaking strength compared to polypropylene. In other words, it is a lot sturdier and is not affected by moisture. Polyester stretches much less than polypropylene, which is why it is mainly used for, for example, the edges of our outdoor rugs.

Like polypropylene, polyester is a synthetic fiber. With the same outdoor properties. It retains its shape and colour, is extremely weather resistant and dries quickly. Polyester is also colored in the fiber so that it has a natural look and we can make our beautiful outdoor rugs in combination with polypopylene.

OUTDOOR USE & MAINTENANCE

Polyester, like polypropylene, requires little maintenance. Both are synthetic materials that can be cleaned and maintained in the same way. It is therefore also very suitable for use on your terrace. You don't have to pay as much attention to the polyester edge of our outdoor rugs than the polypropylene fiber, after all, it is thicker and stronger and can therefore be easily cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner. With our cushion & parasol protector you give it a dirt-repellent coating so that stains do not penetrate the material.
